HUBER offers covers in the following sizes:\r\n \tA 15 for traffic areas that can only be used by pedestrians and cyclists (test load 15 kN). \tB 125 for footpaths, pedestrian zones and comparable areas, car parking areas and car parking decks (test load 125 kN). \tD 400 for carriageways of roads (including pedestrian streets), shoulders of roads and parking areas approved for any sort of road vehicles (test load 400 kN). \tE 600 for surfaces that are driven over with high wheel loads, e.g. dock facilities, aircraft operation areas (test load 600 kN). "The term \"surface-watertight\u201d means that the manhole cover is protected against the ingress of natural precipitation such as rain or other surface water that occurs without pressure."

Manhole cover, installed flush with the surface for pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic, optionally in class A15 or B125 or D400 or E600.

Weatherproof, odor-tight against pressureless water, attack-proof, rectangular in shape, made of 1.4307 (AISI 304 L) stainless steel.

The cover is made of a stainless steel tear pattern plate with additional bracing on the underside, tailored to the weight and load class. It provides slip resistance in compliance with DIN EN 124-1:2015-09 and features a low-wear seal on the underside. The cover includes a screw lock and a lock system with anti-drilling protection, featuring a standard hardened safety lock as recommended by criminal investigation departments and aligned with normative standards. The profile cylinder, conforming to DIN 18252, must be supplied by the customer.

The cover is equipped with frost-proof inner hinges and opening assistance provided by stainless steel gas-assisted spring dampers. It includes an integrated cover arrestor that can only be manually released. Additionally, a connection for potential equalization is provided.

Easy-to-install encasing frame, standard height 9.8 in. / 250 mm, with external wall clamps, provided for embedding in concrete (concrete up to upper frame edge) and for mounting to the casing. Manhole cover and frame shielded arc-welded, acid-treated in a pickling bath and passivated. Operating key included.

The cover is designed to prevent forced access and is certified according to DIN EN 1627 to resistance class RC3 in class D400 or resistance class RC4 according to DIN EN 1627 in class B125, D400, E600. It meets the requirements of DVGW W 1050 for object protection in water supply structures and is suitable for use in Ex zone 1. However, it is not suitable for high-volume traffic applications (refer to the definition provided in the Download section).

Designed for a clear width up to and including 39.3 in. / 1000 mm, the cover is certified to meet stringent security and performance standards including:
DIN 1229 / DIN EN 124-1:2015-09 and DIN EN 124-3:2015-09, classes A15, B125, D400, E600 with test certificate and external monitoring.

Designed for a clear width bigger than 39.3 in / 1000 mm and statically calculated according to:
DIN EN 1991:2010-12 (Eurocode 1) and DIN EN 1993:2010-12 (Eurocode 3), class EC10 (comparable with class A) and EC100 (comparable with class D).
