HUBER Wash Drum RoSF9 Efficient and reliable coarse material separation
Design and Function
HUBER Wash Drum RoSF9 for separation of grit from WWTPs and sewer systems, road refuse and oil grit:
As wash water is introduced to pre-wash and homogenize the raw material inside the HUBER Wash Drum RoSF9, the perforated plate retains particles larger than the openings. These particles are then dewatered and discharged into a dumpster.
Since only coarse material larger than the separation size is removed, the volume of the resulting residues is significantly reduced, with nearly all the mineral material being further processed in the downstream HUBER Coanda Grit Washer RoSF4.
The resultant coarse material can then be further separated into a mineral and organic fraction by means of a coarse material washer.
Benefits of the HUBER Wash Drum RoSF9
- High solids throughput even with problematic material (tresses, grease, stones)
- Efficient processing of large volumes up to 26 gpm / 6 m³/h solids throughput
- High hydraulic capacity even with high solids contents
- Defined separation size due to two-dimensional screening of the drum
- Completely encased unit
- Insensitive to coarse material, allowing to process a wide range of debris
- Screened wastewater can be used as wash water
- Minimum wear, reduced maintenance
- Compact, space-saving design
- Low energy demand
- High corrosion resistance
