HUBER Screenings Compactor Ro7 Transport and compaction of screenings and other waste materials
Design and Function
Screenings are fed into the machine directly from the screen via an inlet hopper. A durable conveying and compacting screw moves the solids through a sealed rising pipe to the compaction and dewatering zone. The Ro 7 is completely enclosed, effectively preventing odor issues. Once dewatered and compacted, the material is discharged at the end of the compaction zone into a container for disposal.
The carbon-rich press liquor is discharged into the channel. Automatic cleaning is provided via a solenoid valve for the collection trough beneath the machine and the press zone chamber in the compaction and dewatering area.
An optional automatic wash water addition creates intense turbulence, ensuring efficient separation of organic particles and thorough washout of screenings. Both the washing intensity and cycle can be adjusted to meet specific needs.
