Flood-Proof Single Exterior Door TT6

Access door for the field of potable water supply, especially in areas where flooding is likely

Exterior door, flood proof up to a water gauge of 6.5 ft. / 2 m, opening to the outside (pressure side), ready for installation, single-leaf, double skinned, completely made from 1.4307 stainless steel (AISI 304 L). The door and the frame closing flush.

The door leaf has a thickness of 57 mm, with 3 mm sheet thickness on both the pressurized and non-pressurized sides. It is insulated with injected, CFC-free polyurethane hard foam and features a longitudinally ground surface finish. The door is equipped with a special seal around all four sides and is mounted to the frame using stable, maintenance-free hinge plates. The lock is prepared for an onsite profile half-cylinder, lockable from the outside. The door is secured with a locking lever that can be operated from both sides.

The frame is constructed from a special profile, with continuous insulation on all four sides using injected, CFC-free polyurethane hard foam. It comes with the necessary fixing materials. The gap around the frame, between the frame and the wall, must be sealed using the supplied sealing material.

Door leaf and frame welded under inert gas, pickled in an immersion bath and passivated.

Max. permitted leakage rate: 2 gallons/day - 0.3 litres/hour.
