Attack-proof and Weatherproof Manhole Cover SD3/RC4, security tested, rectangular type

The manhole cover is designed to be secure, preventing forced access, and is weatherproof. It is rectangular in shape and made of 1.4307 (AISI 304 L) stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.

The manhole cover complies with DIN 1239:2018-4 and is security tested to resistance class RC3 (DIN EN 1627). It meets the requirements of DVGW W 1050 for object protection in water supply structures and is suitable for use in Ex zone 1.

The cover is made of a 4 mm thick stainless steel plate with a centrally raised profile, featuring stable concealed hinges, stainless steel gas-assisted spring dampers, and an integrated arrestor that can only be undone by hand. It includes a handle and a replaceable circumferential rubber seal on the underside, which is insect-proof, weatherproof (frost-proof and weather-resistant), and designed for low wear. The cover also incorporates a lock system with anti-drilling protection and hardened safety locks, as recommended by criminal investigation departments and in accordance with normative standards. The profile cylinders, in accordance with DIN 18252, must be provided by the customer.

A connection for potential equalisation is provided.

The frame is made of bent stainless steel profile, designed for bolted fixing with clips inside the manhole as lift locks.
