HUBER SE receives "Best Business Award" for sustainable management

Every year the Best Business Award is given to sustainably operating companies in Eastern Bavaria, Upper Austria and Southern Bohemia. HUBER could win the second prize this year in the category of companies with more than 100 employees.
Established twelve years ago by Rudolf Fellner, the Best Business Award is supported by the local newspaper Passauer Neue Presse. Every year prize winners from three categories of companies (up to 30 employees, 31 to 100 employees, more than 100 employees) from Eastern Bavaria, Upper Austria and Southern Bohemia are awarded for their especially sustainable management. This year HUBER could win the second prize in the category of companies with more than 100 employees. The patronage committee consists of renowned members, such as Bavarian State Minister Georg Fahrenschon.
CEO Georg Huber personally received the award from Rudolf Fellner during the award ceremony on 6th October at Zell Castle in Upper Austria. Rudolf Fellner about the difficult decision this year: „The quality of applications is increasing from year to year, so we are forced with very narrow decisions.” Two third of the 40 competitors in the final round were companies located in Eastern Bavaria. All companies with headquarters or production in Eastern Bavaria, Southern Bohemia or Upper Austria are entitled to participate. They are rated by means of a comprehensive questionnaire with a points-based system that valuates their growth, financial success, sustainability, financial stability and staff potential. The jury compared particularly their market presence, innovative power, sustainability, strategy and personnel management.
