HUBER continues to grow internationally: New location in Italy inaugurated
HUBER SE has celebrated its relocation to a larger site in Rivanazzano Terme, Italy (Lombardy region). Due to the significant growth of the subsidiary HUBER Italy in recent years, it became necessary to expand the office space as well as the assembly and logistics areas. This necessitated a change of location, for which an excellently suited company site including sufficient office, assembly and logistics space was found. The expansion of the site capacities in Italy ensures that the order situation in production at the Berching headquarters remains strong. This is where products for the Italian market will continue to be manufactured.
Due to its size, this new location offers HUBER Italy growth opportunities for many years to come. Among other things, the move will enable an increase in local added value and thus an even stronger local presence of HUBER in the Italian market. Rivanazzano Terme is the company's second location in Italy besides the site in Laives (Province of Bolzano-Alto Adige).
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of HUBER Italy employees and their families as well as numerous guests, including Dr Oliver Rong (Vice CEO Chief Technical & Production Officer at HUBER SE), Davide Nascimbene (Managing Director HUBER Italy) and Horst Schnarf (former Managing Director and shareholder HUBER Italy) as well as the Mayor of Rivanazzano Terme, Alice Zelaschi.

Further expanding our leading global market position
The company currently employs 35 people at its site in Rivanazzano Terme. The expansion is part of the HUBER Group's strategy to further develop its leading global market position in wastewater treatment, drinking water treatment and sewage sludge treatment and at the same time to serve local markets in an even more targeted manner.
On course for further growth
As a global leader in the field of wastewater treatment, drinking water treatment and sewage sludge treatment, HUBER is defying the current difficult economic and political situation, both in its home market of Germany and internationally. As recently as spring 2024, the company opened a new office and production site in Denver, North Carolina (near Charlotte) in the USA. At around USD 50 million, this represents the largest single investment in the company's history. Following the expansion of production capacity at the Berching headquarters by two new production halls in 2023/24 (from 31,000 m² to 44,000 m² of production space), the company is currently investing further in its home country with the construction of a new multi-storey car park and many other projects, continuing its growth strategy.
