HUBER’s Space-Saving carbon reduction solution

The DSL is an alternative to primary settlement tanks & is designed for new or existing sewage treatment works which need additional primary settlement capacity. Its provides a key solution for existing sites needing to expand but with a limited space for additional built infrastructure, or brand new sites with limited footprint. This solution offers energy efficiency, with low(physical & Carbon ) footprint solutions to reduce SS, BOD & COD and to optimise the energy balance of the sewage treatment plant.

• A footprint ≥10% the size of conventional PST’s.
• Significantly reduced carbon footprint during construction.
• Simple integration into existing works provides increased capacity & separation of primary sludge.

CarbonWin® concept is typically combined with the HUBER S-DISC Sludge Thickener to generate 5-6% sludge for digestion.
