HUBER Technology UK teams up with Noventa for sewer energy recovery
HUBER Technology are delighted to have appointed Noventa Energy UK (Noventa) as their exclusive distributor in Scotland for the HUBER ThermWin® technology.
Running through our sewers, is a hidden and seldom used source of energy: municipal or Industrial wastewater with a typical temperature of 15°C - 20° C all year round. This constant supply of wastewater is an ideal energy source for both heating and cooling buildings. With over 40 installations globally, the patented HUBER ThermWin® technology is a proven solution for sewer energy recovery.

Noventa is already working with the HUBER group in North America where Noventa Energy Partners (the parent company) is incorporating the HUBER ThermWin® technology into their Wastewater Energy Transfer™ (WET™) systems to provide meaningful environmental and financial benefits for communities. Phase 1 of Noventa’s WET™ system at Toronto Western Hospital, currently under construction, will provide over 19MW of low-carbon thermal energy and reduce GHG emissions by 8,400 tCO2e annually – making it the largest raw wastewater energy system in the world.
