Our mission at HUBER Technology is about protecting and enhancing the environment with sustainable wastewater solutions. To deliver this efficiently and effectively we need a management structure that supports quality, the environment, and a structure that maintains the health, safety and wellbeing of anyone affected by what we do.

As a company, we ensure our day-to-day business activities meet and exceed the criteria set by the International Organization for Standardization.  We have been accredited to ISO9001 and ISO14001 for quality and environment since 2009 and this year we are delighted to announce that we have successfully transitioned from the British Standard BS OHSAS 18001 for occupational health & safety, that we have held since 2014, to the International Standard, ISO45001.

Like many companies holding the BS OHSAS 18001 we were required to migrate to the International Standard as the British Standard will no longer be valid from 30 September 2021.  This date was extended from its original 12^th March deadline because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This move to ISO45001:2018 brings an opportunity to streamline our standards.  The three standards now follow the same high-level structure called Annex SL. This was created to introduce core text, common terms and definitions and will ease the integration of our management systems, creating efficiencies along the way.

To become the supplier of choice HUBER Technology considers the needs and expectations of its customers very seriously.  Our customers want a quality product and service, delivered and installed safely, whilst enhancing and protecting the environment. These accreditations demonstrate our commitment to achieving and exceeding those customer requirements.

We don’t stop there - Whilst maintaining a triple standard integrated management system, the Company is also accredited to other schemes such as Achilles UVBD B2 and to CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) who were a founder member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement).

The accreditations held are the result of regular audits conducted by UKAS accredited controlling bodies, Achilles UVBD auditors and the completion of the CHAS online system audit. We are even audited by our customers.  As well as our migration to ISO45001 this year, we are also celebrating a fantastic result received by Achilles, which we have now held for two consecutive years.
