Ground-breaking Ceremony for New HUBER SE Office Building

HUBER SE has given the starting signal for the construction of a new office building: On Wednesday, 5 February, the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony took place at the company's headquarters in Berching. Bavaria's Minister President Dr Markus Söder, Minister of Finance and Regional Development Albert Füracker, Member of the Bundestag Susanne Hierl and other political representatives attended, underlining the importance of this project for HUBER SE and the region. Around 200 new workstations and a spacious canteen will be set up on a total of four floors for employees at the site.

Bavarian State Premier Dr Markus Söder: ‘HUBER is investing almost 20 million euros in a new office building and creating around 200 modern jobs. Strong company growth

The new office building will cover the increased space requirements resulting from the company's strong growth and offer employees a modern working environment. The building will be constructed on the area behind the existing administration building. This area is currently used as a car park. The company will soon open a new multi-storey car park at the site – this will free up the space to start construction of the office building.

200 workstations and 150 seats in new canteen

The year 2025 will be marked by the earthworks and the subsequent shell construction. Around 200 workstations and a new canteen with seating for around 150 people will be created on a total of four floors. The location, in conjunction with the existing administration building and the forum, will create an inviting inner courtyard that can be used as a spacious terrace in summer. Construction of the new office building is expected to be completed in 2026.
