Plants for sludge treatment (e.g. HUBER Screw Press Q-PRESS^®, HUBER Disc Thickener S-Disc) or for pre- and secondary treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater (e.g. HUBER Flotation Plant HDF) are usually purchased in Germany. This involves prior planning, authorisation, construction of infrastructure and buildings, as well as permanent responsibility for the acquired plant technology. In addition, the process from idea to implementation often takes several years.

Completely ready-to-connect and ready-to-operate machines for rent as containerised plants.

Industrial plant operators, in particular, increasingly wish and demand to rent rather than permanently purchase machinery and equipment. The reasons are:

Short-term and rapid implementation, especially where the wastewater pollution load is temporarily or permanently higher due to increased production
Tight deadlines set by the authorities to improve discharge values (including in the event of a threatened plant closure), also as a stopgap until a permanent installation is built
Avoiding complex planning and preparation processes, as well as reduced investment in structures and buildings
Avoiding major investments, especially in economically strained times, and utilisation of operating cost budgets

HUBER has recognised these requirements and will make machines and systems available for rent in the future. The technology can be rented temporarily and then returned, or taken over completely at a later date. In most cases, the machines are designed completely ready for connection and operation as containerised systems, as so-called skids or as individual machines that can be temporarily installed on site, e.g. in tents.
