Sludge Screening
Efficient and reliable removal of coarse material from sludge
For the operational safety of sludge treatment processes, it is advantageous if the sludge is as free as possible of coarse material and disturbing solids (e.g. paper, plastics, fibres and hair). Otherwise, repeated malfunctions of aggregates and processes may occur in pumps, but also during thickening, dewatering or drying, and these can be time-consuming and costly to rectify and require increased manpower.
For the agricultural recycling practised in many regions of the world, it also makes sense to separate all solids such as plastic parts for reasons of environmental protection and aesthetics.
Depending on the application, HUBER has different machines for sludge screening in its product range so that the right machine and technology is available for every application, every installation situation and any throughput rate.
